Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jürgen Brauer
Jürgen Brauer is a professor for Sensor Data Processing and Programming at University of Applied Sciences Kempten in Germany. He studied Computer Science and Psychology at University of Trier and University of Bonn (Germany) and spent one semester abroad at Universidad de Málaga (Spain).
After his studies he built humanoid robots for the RoboCup (Team NimbRo) at University of Freiburg, developed a medical software framework at CAESAR, worked as a software-developer at the start-up SICAT and delved into the field of Computer Vision during his time as a PhD student at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) while simultaenously working on projects at Fraunhofer IOSB.
Jürgen Brauer holds a Dipl.-Inform. degree from University of Bonn and a Dr.-Ing. from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and earned his doctorate in the field of Computer Vision and Machine Learning.
He is mainly interested in Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Robotics.
Jürgen Brauer is married and has 3 kids.
